Common OEM Questions
What is the minimum order quantity for OEM?
The MOQ for firmware and branding customization (OEM) is 50 units. Hardware design modifications (ODM) require a minimum of 500 units. For standard off-the-shelf products with no customization, there is no MOQ — order as few as 1 unit via shop.e-lins.com.
Can I see a sample before committing to mass production?
Yes. A fully functioning engineering sample with your custom firmware, branding, and packaging will be provided for your team to test and approve before we commence mass production.
Will my customers know the hardware is made by E-Lins?
No. Under our white-label OEM program, your product will be completely rebranded. The web UI, boot screen, product labels, and packaging will carry your logo. The E-Lins brand will not be visible to your end customers.
How do firmware updates work after delivery?
We provide a custom Over-The-Air (OTA) update server linked to your specific firmware build. When security patches or feature updates are released, you can seamlessly push them to your deployed devices.
Can you help us obtain FCC/CE certification for our custom SKU?
Yes. We offer full certification support. We handle the technical documentation, lab coordination, and application process for FCC, CE, PTCRB, and IC certifications for your custom SKUs, ensuring they are registered under your company name.
