= field-tested on live networks. The H685T uses TDD-LTE bands — verify your carrier's band plan (B38/39/40/41) before ordering; FDD regions are served by the H820 series.
Standard H685T units are not ATEX-rated. For oil & gas, mining and chemical sites in Zone 1 / Zone 2 hazardous areas, E-Lins offers certified enclosure packages and intrinsic-safety consultation through OEM projects. Contact our engineering team with your zone classification for a compliant configuration.
Need carrier approvals (PTCRB, AT&T, Verizon), ATEX or other regional certifications for your project? Contact us — certification-on-request is available for volume orders.

The product supports TDD-LTE Band 38 (2600 MHz), Band 39 (1900 MHz), Band 40 (2300 MHz) and Band 41 (2500/2600 MHz), with fallback to TD-SCDMA (2010-2025 / 1880-1920 MHz) and EDGE/GPRS/GSM quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz). Other TDD-LTE band combinations are available on request - see the datasheet for the full band list.
Yes - the product is carrier-unlocked and accepts any standard SIM/UIM card. APN is auto-detected for most carriers. Before ordering, confirm your carrier operates TDD-LTE Bands 38/39/40/41; for FDD-LTE regions (most of Europe / the Americas), choose the H820 series instead.
Yes. With the RS232 or RS485 option, the router works as a serial-to-cellular DTU gateway, transparently tunneling Modbus RTU traffic from meters, PLCs and RTUs to your SCADA center over TCP/UDP. Configuration takes minutes in the Web UI.
Insert an activated SIM, connect power (5-40 V DC - 12 V / 24 V cabinet and vehicle supplies work directly), attach the antenna, and the router registers on the network within about a minute. Default Web UI is at 192.168.8.1; APN, failover and VPN are configured in a guided flow. Most sites go from unboxing to online in under 10 minutes.
Yes - the compact metal enclosure is designed for street cabinets, pole boxes and control panels, with a -35 °C to +75 °C wide-temperature design and enhanced ventilation. Wall-mount and DIN-rail kits are available as accessories; the Hardware Installation Guide covers grounding and wiring.
Yes. The product supports three-way failover between 4G/3G/2G cellular, wired WAN (xDSL via RJ45) and Wi-Fi client mode. You can choose cellular-preferred or WAN-preferred backup strategies, and a built-in watchdog automatically restarts the link if the connection drops - an always-online design.
Yes - a full VPN suite: PPTP, L2TP, IPsec and GRE, with IPsec PKI digital certificates and extended authentication for compatibility with third-party VPN concentrators. IP/MAC filtering and an SPI firewall protect against DoS attacks.
All E-Lins routers integrate with the E-Lins NMS cloud network management system - remote monitoring, bulk configuration, firmware upgrades and alerts. SNMP (MIB-II + private MIB), Telnet, SSH2, Web UI and SMS status control are also built in. Learn about NMS →
Yes - firmware updates run over the Web UI, via the Configuration Tool over LAN, or in bulk through E-Lins NMS for entire fleets. Dual-image fallback means a failed update never bricks a remote unit; the step-by-step procedure is documented on the Wiki.
Every product carries a 5-year limited hardware warranty, a 30-day return policy on standard units, and lifetime firmware updates. Extended warranty and advance-replacement SLAs are available for volume and OEM projects.
Yes. E-Lins has provided OEM/ODM services since 1999: custom firmware, branding, enclosure and feature options (RS232/RS485, GPS, SMS/voice control, RIP/OSPF/BGP, PoE). Evaluation customization starts from a single unit; production branding typically starts at 50 units.
Standard models have no MOQ — order one sample to validate your application. Standard lead time is 2-4 weeks depending on options and quantity; volume pricing starts at 10 units, OEM pricing at 50+. Request a quote and receive a formal offer within 4 business hours.
